Ever since I was young, I have loved playing with cameras and making movies. I started out filming stop-motion animations of my Lego creations and creating highlight reels from my favorite ninja warrior moves. As I matured, my projects grew more sophisticated, and I recognized the power of visual imagery to connect people to meaningful stories. I seek to create meaning through engaging storytelling and social commentary. I love every aspect of filmmaking and broadcasting, from brainstorming possibilities to using different camera angles, lighting, and focus, to the editing process. For me, the post-production carving of raw footage into a cohesive narrative through soundscaping, color grading, and editing techniques is incredibly gratifying. I also am energized by the centered awareness, boildness, and attention to detail that running a live production demands. And if I get to climb a 20 foot truss to get the best shot? Nothing better.
